Naiara graduated from the University of Puerto Rico–Río Piedras in 2024 with a B.S. in Chemistry. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research in Dr. Eduardo Caro's lab, synthesizing analogs of the marine natural product Majusculamide D. In the Morstein group, Naiara is interested in developing new chemical biology methods to study lipid-protein interactions. Outside of research, she enjoys playing pickleball, reading fiction, petting cats, and spotting coyotes on campus.
