Camryn graduated in 2024 from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology where she studied glycosyltransferases involved in plant cell wall biosynthesis in Dr. Ian Wallace's lab. Camryn then began working in the Voorhees lab at Caltech as a research technician in 2024 where she studied the structure-function connection of proteins involved in mitochondrial membrane protein biogenesis. In the Morstein lab, Camryn is investigating the rewiring of lipid metabolism in various subtypes of breast cancer. Outside of the lab, she enjoys spending time with her dog and taking care of her many plants.
